1. How do we buy tickets?

There are a few different types of tickets you can buy: Come for an individual day, buy an individual day ticket. Come for the weekend, buy a weekend pass. Want to camp, buy a camping pass. Kids 15 and under are free (except for VIP tickets see here). Click on the Ticket button above to buy tickets!

2. What are the hours of the festival and when do the gates open?

Festival Grounds open for the weekend at 10:00am on Thursday. BELOW TIMES ARE SUBJECT TO SLIGHT CHANGE.

Thursday: Campground open at 10:00am. Venue gates open at 4pm. Music from 5:00-11:00pm.

Friday: Venue Gates open at 8:45am. Music starts at 11:00am.

Saturday: Venue Gates open at 8:45am. Music starts 11:00am.

Sunday: Gates open at 8:45am. Music starts at 10:30am and ends in the early evening

FESTIVAL GROUNDS MUST BE VACATED BY 10AM MONDAY.

3. Can I buy tickets at the gate?

Yes, Weekend passes as well as individual day tickets will be available at the gate while supplies last. We take cash and credit card. We suggest buying early online if possible to ensure you get the tickets you want. Go to our ticket page for more info.

4. Are pets allowed?

Sadly, no pets are allowed. Here is a list of kennels in the area.

5. Can I camp at the festival?

YES! Please go to www.greenmountainbluegrass.com/camping for more information.

6. What if I don’t want to camp?

Manchester has some amazing choices for lodging ranging from house rentals to resorts to B&B’s and everything in between. Click on "Stay" and then "Lodging" for further detail.

7. Will there be food and vendors at the festival?

You Betcha! A truly amazing assortment of local food and craft vendors are an essential element of GMBR.

8. What about alcohol?

We will have a wonderful selection of craft beer, wine and specialty cocktails available for purchase at the festival. Outside alcohol is not permitted into the festival venue, but is permitted at your campsite. Bags will be checked.

9. Should we bring our own chairs?

Yes, bring chairs for the stage area. Low-back are preferred.

10. Will there be an ATM on site?

Yes

11. What is the weather like in Manchester VT in late August?

Late August in Vermont is dreamy with it’s warm days and cool nights but it can be temperamental. Be sure to check the weather before you come and be prepared for anything from chilly nights, to hot days. Thunder storms are also a strong possibility! Layering is a great approach.
